Coffee Blossom

After abundant rains, the coffee tree blooms two or three times a year with magnificent white flowers. The strong and pungent scent of coffee flowers is sometimes reminiscent of jasmine and sometimes of orange blossom. A tree that has just begun to bloom will bear a total of 20 to 30 thousand flowers a year on its branches. A few hours after the coffee flowers open, they begin to fade and slowly prepare to become fruit.
